James Omvig's book was mentioned in one of these messages. He has been appointed to the Iowa Commission for the Blind Board, and this hasn't come a moment too soon. Maybe it's a moment too late since his office commences May 1. The Iowa Dept. for the Blind is seeking a new director. They have their finalists and met Saturday I think to determine who they would be and next ste[s planning. They refused to grant a request for information as to who the finalists are.
