Greetings, many of you have recently received a mailing from the federations vice Pres. discussing the disability treaty. I am passing this along so that everyone knows that the entire disability community supports this and it's going to take the efforts of everyone. I previously mentioned that the response I received back from our Kansas Senators lashed year stated that they would not support the tree under the guise of sovereignty. It has been showing by multiple organizations that the disability treaty will not impinge on America's sovereignty nor will it cause our Americans with disability at to be modified or require increased funding for monitoring the treaty.

It is my personal opinion as a person who has traveled to a couple of our allies that the US is behind in ensuring accessibility for its disabled citizens. Standard toll along with former president Bush and many others stand behind the treaty and desires to see it ratified.
