Good morning Kansas Federationists,

For those who may be joining our state affiliate board teleconference
meeting for the first time, I should probably clarify President Page's
request regarding which number to use in placing your call. If you have
unlimited long distance calling with your telephone provider we encourage
you to use the 916 area code as NFBK state treasury is billed for use of the
toll free 866 area code access. If you are still paying for long distance
charges, though I wonder why one needs to in the current climate of the
telecom industry, feel free to use the toll free number.

In case you missed the dial-up instructions, they appear below President
Tom's close and signature. As always every member is encouraged to join our
board meetings, whether in person or via teleconference. As advocates of
open and transparent government at every level, the NFB officers and board
practices what we preach regarding transparency. Though only board members
get to make motions and vote on them, anyone can pose questions and comment
on agenda items as they come up. I hope to catch you all on the call
tomorrow at 1:30 pm.

Best regards,

Rob Tabor 1st Vice President NFB of Kansas
