> Hi Serena!
>
> I work with high school exchange students from all over the world every year. This year we have a wonderful young man from Egypt, Ahmed, who is blind. Wichita has so many resources to offer Ahmed. So I am in pursuit of a lovely family that would say yes to hosting Ahmed for the school year.
>
> Ahmed comes with his own spending money and excellent health insurance. Our program is very hands on and provides to tools and support to make the exchange a successful experience for everyone. His information is below. Feel free to pass it on to ANYONE you think would be interested. I am reaching out to you because I know you have families in your circle of influence who have resources and a passion for a high school blind student.

> My name is Ahmed. I'm 16 years old from Egypt. I am good in school and I like modern sciences and technology like astronomy, geology, chemistry and physics. I love working on making new inventions! I invented a fan and a mixer that works with a USB cable or wire. I collect parts from different old and broken toys and machines and make something new from these pieces. I recently started learning to make shapes from pottery. I have many friends and I love them because they are cooperative in studying and they are helpful when I need them. Where I live is a small coastal city that is a tourist attraction for its historical places and the sea. I come from a small family as I live with my parents and my sister. In our free time, my family and I play chess or go shopping. For my home duties, I help my mother and sister and tidy my room. I would hope for my host family to be cooperative and kind to me. I want to go to an advanced country like the United States to gain experience and new skills. After graduation, I plan to go to college in Business Administration to become a businessman and then get a job that can improve my skills and help others.
