Tom and Rob,

I had conversations going with my congressman's office, but all
communication seemed to fail within our organization. We need to work
together. One person or chapter at a time is not the way to get this done.

Tom, I couldn't have said it better myself! The major advantage of newsline
over all audio information services anywhere include on-demand access,
availability across multiple platforms, and the continuously expanding list
local and national publications.

You will be pleased to learn, in addition to many other Kansans, that the
Kansas NFB affiliate will be funding our newsline subscription for the next
6 months.
However, this kind of funding model from treasury is not a wise or
appropriate way to go over the long-term. In the upcoming 2016 Kansas this
legislative session we will need to have some honest conversation with our
legislators about coming up with our official policy established at the
2015 state convention is to call upon the legislature to find news line
through the Kansas Universal service fund. Tom, I speak honestly and saying
that I believe you will be a tremendous asset in that endeavor. I hope I am
not being too presumptuous and saying I look forward to rolling up our
sleeves and working together to get the job done.

Best regards,
Rob tabor first vice president NFB of Kansas ga stable source of funding.
