Sent from my iPhoneKay Carpenter, mother of Sandy Carpenter and Linda Anderson passed away last evening at about 10 30 PM.  She was 87 years old and has been suffering with Alzheimer's disease for at least three years.  
I am reminded of the song my grandmother liked.  The lyrics are as follows:  
Nearing the shore; nearing the shore.  
Trouble soon will be over; no sorrow no more.  
No pain no more; no rich nor poor.  
Oh it is wonderful to be nearing the shore.
