Congratulations Kansas NFB colleagues and cohorts,

Yes, this is for real, not an April fools joke. During the 11 o’clock hour this morning the Kansas house pass senate bill 276 which was merged into senate bill 343 via a conference committee bundling process. The vote was 114 to 0.

Now the next stage is to urge governor Kelly to sign SB 343, although I have no reason to doubt that she will do so. I will follow up with further instructions shortly as to how to best communicate our message. Again, thanks to everyone who provided written and oral testimonies in both the house and senate committees. We could not have done this without you.

Best regards,
