Good evening Federation colleagues and cohorts,

The house convened a split morning and afternoon session today, but no action was taken on the bill. The purpose of today’s session was to appoint conference committees on several bills that originated in the house and were changed by the Senate. The house is scheduled to convene tomorrow morning at 10 AM.

Meanwhile, there is still plenty of time to contact your state representative and ask him or her to vote yes on the bill when it comes up. Thanks to those who have already done so. I will continue to keep you posted on a day-to-day basis. We need to get the bill passed before April 1, or we will have to re-introduced a bill next year.

Best regards,
Rob Tabor | first vice president/legislative Director national Federation of the blind of Kansas
