The Human Rights Watch Film Festival - Screening in person in NYC and  Streaming Online through May 26, across the US

The human rights movement needs ALL of us.

The Human Rights Watch Film Festival <https://ff.hrw.org/newyork>  is back in NYC, screening a slate of 10 powerful films that uplift stories of human rights advocates worldwide, from parents organizing for education and affordable childcare in Oakland California, to environmental land defenders risking their lives in the Philippines to stand for climate justice- to a group of people who organized an underground network in the 1970s to ensure people had access to safe abortions when it was illegal.  At this year's festival 9 of the 10 films (that includes 16 in person screenings at Film at Lincoln Center and IFC Center and 9 films available to stream online) are fully accessible!  

All in-person screenings at the HRW Film Festival (except the film called: The New Greatness Case) are available with Audio Description, closed captions and  the live in-person discussions with filmmakers and activists will be live-captioned for members of the public who are D/deaf or hard of hearing. Cinemas are excited to welcome members of the public to take part in these events.

The festival is also financially accessible - we don't want the cost of a ticket to be a barrier for participation. Free tickets are available to all films online by emailing filmticket at hrw.org for an auto-reply message that will contain free ticket codes to redeem online.
