What are you doing this Sunday? Want to take over MoMA?

 

We’re celebrating over 50 years of touch tours at MoMA with an open house on Sunday March 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., plus an audio described screening of Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio at 3:00 p.m. 

 

For folks who are blind or have low vision of all ages and their families and friends. 

 

>From 11 to 3, open house style, we’ll have:

 

*	Drop-in opportunities to touch several works from MoMA’s collection
*	Drop-in artmaking inspired by Matisse
*	The Art Lab, a place for artmaking for kids, with several tactile and multisensory activities
*	An opportunity to learn about and experience MoMA’s newest recorded audio descriptions through the Bloomberg Connects app
*	Mini verbal description tours (led by yours truly)
*	A 20% discount at MoMA’s Cafe 2 and Espresso Bar

 

The whole event is free, and pre-registration is recommended/requested.
