Subject: Reminder: Tactil Drawing Teach-in This Friday and Saturday - register now!
Hi everyone,
We have a few available spots left in our Tactile Art Teach-in, which meets all day Friday and Saturday this week. This workshop is taught by experienced tactile artists and educators including Ann Cunningham, Minh Ha, Ka Li, Lauren Race, and Marco Salsiccia. Blind and low-vision patrons, and our allies, will develop an understanding of tactile drawing techniques, explore concepts like perspective and point of perception, learn to draw landscapes and more. Whether or not you see yourself as an artist now or in the future, this workshop will prepare you to express your ideas through the versatile language of drawing.
We currently have 24 learners and volunteers registered, and we'd like to see at least 30. So please share this opportunity with friends and colleagues! It's free, it only happens once a year and no experience is required!
Register by filling out this form:
