Good morning all!
The 2024 Accessible Community, Culture, and Technology Fair will be held Friday October 18th and Saturday October 19th, from 11 AM to 4 PM, and will take place at the New York Public Library's Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library at 455 Fifth Avenue (at the south east corner of 40th Street and 5th Avenue) in Manhattan. Saturday will have an extra focus on youth and families, though everyone is always welcome!
Last year's fair saw more than 300 attendees, with resources, groups, and offerings for community members who are blind, low vision, Deafblind, physically disabled, and print disabled.
This year's fair will host tablers from support, education, employment, advocacy, arts, and recreation groups, technology demos, fun accessible activities for children and teens on Saturday, as well as panel discussions on civic engagement from the New York City Commission on Human Rights, and our exciting keynote speaker, Sasha Blair-Goldensohn from Google!
This year's tablers will include:
3Doodler
We make 3D pens that are capable of making a raised line on a flat surface that is safe to touch limitedly.
