*Old business:*

Popcorn fundraiser update- Fuller needs to get financial information put in
the app. He was not wanting it to be on his personal device so he was
waiting until the meeting. Page asked if there was a way to do this on a
desktop. Laridda said its linked to a phone number, not email. Page
suggested leaving it tied to south central and have them distribute it to
Fuller to send to the chapters. Tabor suggested setting up a google voice
account. We would need a gmail account linked to the affiliate. Page asked
who would monitor the account. Donna volunteered an old phone that we could
keep the apps on that are needed for verification to the google voice
account. Page asked Rob Tabor to look into it with him this week. We will
try to get this done before convention, if its not possible we will revisit
at the first of the year.

*New business: *

Sharon Luka contacted Nano Pac, and they agreed to support our lunch. Donna
and Robert Fuller will get them a headcount. This will make Nano Pac a gold
sponsor because they are contributing over $1,000.

We discussed the different levels of sponsorship.

Sharon mentioned the senior luncheon will need presented to as well.

Laridda suggested giving Nanopac all the recognition because they’ve been
sponsoring us for many years. Page agreed, and said we give them an extra
thanks at the podium during acknowledgments.

The final tiers we agreed on are

Bronze- 250-500, which get them exhibit hall table, and a mention in the
agenda.

Silver-500-1000, which gets you everything from bronze plus a mention in
the newsletter

Gold- 1000-1500, which gets you everything plus website mention and
advertising in the goodie bags.

Platinum- 1500+ which gets you everything plus podium time at the luncheons.

Dianne asked if we could add 15 minutes to the lunch so the seniors
division can do their business meeting and elections as well. Page said we
could look at that for next year, and if we can’t get it in the schedule we
can move their business meeting. Page asked if they are under a
constitutional obligation to do it at convention, Rob Tabor will look into
this.

*Convention update: *The committee is meeting at the hotel on the 20th to
decide where to put everyone in the rooms we have. They are meeting again
at the end of the month to finish agenda.

Donna said newsletter updates from chapters are due by Friday the 15th

f

We have interest in starting a Topeka chapter. Rob Tabor will be helping
with this.

*Action Items*- Put together vendor invitation and sponsor request letter.

Page will work on the agenda for convention.

Fuller will get a summary of last year’s travel expenses.

Invite BEP to be a vendor

Page will work on getting logins and training materials for chapter
secretaries to help with member management. Laridda volunteered to help as
well.

Announcements: Ben Dallin from Wisconsin is our national representative at
convention.

Dan Decker is no longer with VR
