Hello, Fellow Federationist.

 

Welcome June and the feel of summer is Here!  Please come and join us for
updates about our Father's Day fundraiser, NFB National convention, and
several other topics of interest.

 

The Johnson-Wyandotte County chapter will hold its next meeting on Friday,
June  12th, 2026. At Denny's Restaurant, located at 10480 Metcalf Avenue,
Overland Park, Kansas

You are invited to come and gather for a group meal, if you wish to order,
at 5:00 pm. Afterwards, we will begin our meeting via Zoom at 6:30 pm.

Chapter Business & Activities

 

*	Updates from our Treasurer about our current fundraiser event for
Father's Day.

*	Re-Confirmation of our chapters contribution amount for NFB
convention charities.
*	 
*	 Discussions about activities, Guest speakers and fundraiser ideas
for state convention.
*	 
*	Discussions about our "5K Run/Walk in the park," event set for
October 2026.
*	 
*	NFBKS Sports & Rec update; Sports activities Will be part of state
convention in November. A trip to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota is in the
Works as well as an Eastern Caribbean Cruise, set for sometime in April
2027, if anyone is interested.

*	Game and Movie Night - Jody Mulik.
*	 
*	This Month's Birthdays - Jody Mulik.

 

NFB Presidential Release (Played).

 

National Business:

 

*	NFB National Convention is only less than four weeks away. Which
will be held in Austin, Texas. From July 3 to the 8th, 2026.

 

State Business:

 

*	Kansas State Convention is set for November 13th -15th, 2026. At The
Holiday Inn suites located at 8787 Reeder St. Overland Park, Kansas

sas?entry=gmail&source=g> . The convention committee will be meeting on June
14th, at 7:00 PM via Zoom, to start planning for the 2026 Convention.
