Dear AFB Talent Lab Folks!

Hope all is well! I wanted to reach out to let you know about a very
special event we wanted to ensure was on your radar. Our award-winning
documentary film, *Possibilities *will celebrate its nationwide release
with a special New York City premiere event on June 27th in Zankel Hall at
Carnegie Hall. The date marks the 146th birthday of Helen Keller. AFB is
looking for community partners who can help spread the word and attend this
groundbreaking documentary premiere, which is the first full-length feature
film produced with open audio description so that all audiences may enjoy
it together.

Possibilities captures the legacy of Helen Keller through the stories of
people today who are blind. The authentic voices of those we featured break
down misconceptions about blindness. After our successful festival run that
wrapped up last year, we’re pleased that the film will now be available
that weekend on AppleTV, Amazon Prime, and Tubi. The film will also be
released on Biblo+ and Kanopy, making it available to schools and libraries
across the country.

If you are in or near New York City on June 27th, we would love for you to
join us at Carnegie Hall for this special celebration. The screening will
take place at 7:00PM with a brief filmmakers panel afterwards. Tickets are
now available on Carnegie Hall’s events page
<https://www.carnegiehall.org/calendar/2026/06/27/possibilities-honoring-the-legacy-of-helen-keller---film-screening-with-panel-0700pm>
and can also be purchased at the box office at the corner of West 57th
Street and Seventh Avenue up until the event starts. Individual tickets are
$15.

Let me know if you can attend and I'll look for you there!
