face=Calibri>I am writing to update on Comet’s condition.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>She and I went to K-State
University Veterinary clinic on this Tuesday the 12<SUP>th</SUP>.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>There Comet went through
pre-surgery examination.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>One
point, I got a scare by being told that Comet might have another tumor in
her abdomen.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The clinic did
ultrasound and it turned out that growing of a tumor in her abdomen was a
false alarm.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT>

<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><FONT size=3><FONT
face=Calibri>Wednesday the 13<SUP>th</SUP> from 8:00AM she had her full
CAT scan and by 10:05AM she was on the surgical table.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The operation was done by 1:00PM
that afternoon.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It went well
and a team of veterinarians were able to take out the tumor
completely.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Although she is
still under critical condition and monitored by ICU staff, she is
certainly making good progress on her condition.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>She is breezing on her own.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Oxygen is still being supplied
through her nose tube.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>She
also has a tube in her chest o pull out all the fluid in her chest due to
the pressure of the tumor.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Her lung was pretty smashed because of the pressure, but now tumor
being out I am hoping it would expand back to
normal.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT>
