I'll always be grateful for our ability to attend the 50th NFB anniversary celebration in Dallas. Mrs. Ten Brook spoke relaying the dreams and actions that our founder "Chick" as she called him and how we should be okay being referred to as "millatants"...there's indeed a battle to be fought for our rights and we need to join as one to do the work that must be done. I also had the special opportunity to talk to her briefly in that long hallway joining the two parts of that hotel...she was delighted at the little kids running back and forth using their canes joyfully laughing and having a good time and telling me how happy her husband would be to know that something as typical as kids running freely around, was happening at long last for these blind kids... ..Each of you having this wonderful opportunity to attend this special year will have some extra special memories. you can share.
