He had begun trying to get to the bottom of what was wrong, but he never had the chance to have the last tests.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Loren was born and raised in Iowa, graduating from the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in 1963. He attended the Commission for the Blind, then college at the University of Iowa. He lived for a number of years in Idaho and then returned to Iowa. For several years he was in Kansas working at the Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Visually impaired. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Loren’s daughter, Sarah, who now lives in Idaho, and his sister from North Carolina are in Iowa City making his arrangements.
