<html>In late April, I was put in the CCU and it was found that the reason I was falling (with a heart rate of 41; this is known as a heart crash as there's not enough oxygen doodling through the heart or getting to the brain--and making me not remember what was going on) was a drug I'd been prescribed 3 yrs ago: Metoprotol (sp?). It was doubly slowing down my heart rate. So. . .it was taken away. It's like a new life. I've caused problems but we now know why. You would not believe the changes in outlook and functioning ability--and talking more (Yes! It <em>is</em> possible.)
