<div dir="ltr">Hello All, </div><div dir="ltr">I wanted to share this with everyone because, currently these, Kansas bills, <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; display: inline !important;">HB 2423 and SB 258, attack the ADA by dramatically limiting the ability of Kansans with disabilities to protect and enforce their rights under the ADA. </span></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; display: inline !important;">The article states: <p style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1.25em; color: rgb(67, 67, 67);"><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">These bills say that a Kansan who brings an ADA claim in court can then be sued by the business violating the ADA! Under this bill, the business violating the ADA can sue to make the disabled person (who is typically on a fixed income) pay the business’ attorney fees and monetary damages!
