REMOVING BARRIERS TO WORK FOR DISABLED AMERICANS ACT<br>

Great news! The Removing Barriers to Work for Disabled Americans Act, H.R.<br>
8884, was passed by the House on Thursday, July 23. This bill authorizes<br>
the Social Security Administration to conduct demonstration projects,<br>
similar to the one that would be created by the Blind Americans Return to<br>
Work Act, within the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program.<br>
The House bill has been transmitted to the Senate where we are hoping that<br>
it will be passed via unanimous consent. <br>

HOW TO TAKE ACTION<br>

* Call your two senators. To find the contact information for your<br>
specific senators' offices, please use the attached Senate spreadsheet.<br>
