[humanser] Forms

You might want to have the list of questions on your note taker. Then you
can ask the questions, write down the answers, and fill in the actual forms
later either on the computer or with a reader. You'd still be writing, but
I assume all of the counselors need to do this in order to fill out the
forms. The notetaker would at least be smaller and so it wouldn't come
between you and your client. If you don't have a notetaker, then you might
want to consider getting one. You can get low interest loans from NFB, or
you could see if your department of rehab will buy you one since it will
really help you in employment.
Just some thoughts,
Melissa

Subject: [humanser] Forms
Hello Everyone,
I'm in need of some suggestions on filling out forms and am hoping someone
on the list can help. I'm currently volunteering at a crisis pregnancy
center. Because of a federal grant that we have there's a ton of forms that
need to be filled out for each client that we see. I've thought about
putting the forms on the computer and filling them out that way, however I'm
not sure being tied to a computer while trying to counsel is the best idea.
Most of what is written on the forms are answers to questions that we ask
each client.
Any ideas or suggestions you all have would be much appreciated!
Best,
Meleah
