Hello list,
My name is Quinto Sanchez from San Antonio, TX. I am a new member on this list and a new professional in this field. I have a Masters degree in Community Counseling a Licensed Professional Counselor - Intern (LPCI). I am having so much difficulty finding a job. I graduated 2 yrs ago and have applied to over 100 different locations and have had 6 interviews but, no one is hiring. A challenge I have found in my internships is how to manage the paperwork. most of these agencies are still using pen and paper forms and assessments. I've had to overlook some job opportunities because they require driving to the client's home or school. How did you all get started with your first job and how do you handle paperwork and the other challenges I have mentioned? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
