Hello everyone,
I am hoping one of you can help by recommending a good psychologist or
psychiatrist for this individual. Please reply to him directly at
dfrye at nfb.org with any suggestions. Of course, if any of you are working in
this area and would like to recommend yourself, please feel free!
Melissa

Subject: Psychologists or Psychiatrists Who Work Well with Blind People

Melissa:

I'm trying to help somebody who needs to deal directly with
either a psychologist or psychiatrist whose attitudes about
blindness are good and won't interfere with their objective
assessment of this person's other issues. I am hoping as head of
the Human Services Division that you might be able to offer a
recommendation in this respect. Any names would be appreciated,
but I would prefer that the person work somewhere on the east
coast, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or other close by locations.

Thank you.

With Kind Regards,

Daniel B. Frye, JD.
