Hello everyone! Now that the smoke has cleared at the convention, and some
of us have gotten some rest, let me say that we had a productive human
services meeting. We had some great speakers discussing different
experiences in human service professions. I would like to thank the two
scholarship winners for their discussion of how they handle different
situations in their field. We even have critters for sale, which people
offered to sale at the convention. They are stress relief critters. Just ask
JD, he had a lizard in his pocket. We held elections, and the results are as
follows: Rick Brown - President, Meleah Jenson - 1st Vice President, David
Stayer - 2nd Vice President, Laurel Brown - Secretary, JD Townsend -
Treasurer, Melissa Riccobono - Board Member, Yolanda Garcia - Board Member,
Merry Schoch - Board Member. Congratulations to everyone who was elected. I
look forward to working with everyone.
