[humanser] Giving motivational talks as a way of earning money?

I remember a psychologist came to our club in order to practice for a speech 
she was to give at a national conference for psychologists.  She had 
submitted a paper and then was asked to speak on the subject of the paper. 
I don't remember, though I think her presentation went well.
