Hi Serena,
The CSC said obtaining a Braile copy of the test would take extra time. Since I wanted to take the exam as early as possible I settled for the JAWS and reader option. My reader acted as my scribe. I would use JAWS to listen to the question and the multiple choice options. I would then relay to the reader/scribe which choice I wanted her to mark. For some reason I was unable to use the traditional reading commands, so occasionally I needed the reader to reread a question or the choices.
Another instance when I used the reader was if I needed to return to a question. She would mark in the booklet which questions to revisit when I finished the exam. I am going to retake the exam soon to see if I can earn a higher score wince I know now what to expect. Some of the wording of the questions was different from what I learning in school. For example, a session with a client was referred to as an interview. This was not made clearn in the instructions, so I am almost certain I misinterpreted some of the questions.
Also, since you have your MSW, you may be more prepared for the exam. :)
