Hi Ashley,

I will be a sophomore this fall and will start my first practicum in
the spring semester. I have done a good amount of volunteer work with
music therapists throughout high school though.

There are ways of working around the visual issues like in most other
professions. Good for him to sticking to his guns on the career path,
and jazz can certainly find a place in music therapy so his time in
undergrad was not wasted.

I will get in touch with the woman I know and see if she'd be willing
to correspond with your friend through email. She's a fantastic
therapist and I think would be a great person to get information from.
I'll let you know personally off-list what she says.
