Hello Merry:
My incompatability software issues include:
reading scanned documents, hand written or not scanned images are not
accessible unless the scanned document is typed and can be run through
another software program for OCR.
Halifax Health's electronic records use a software package named MEDITECH.
Documents residing in Meditech cannot be read directly unless run through an
OCR program.
The Behavioral Services data tracking software, Patient Tracking, is a MS
ACCESS program and negotiating the multiple menus is, perhaps, possible;
however so cumbersome that in 12 years of trying I have had little success.
The hospital's time clock is computerized and the read-out on the system is
not accessible. I can clock in, but need to use an alternative method to
check out.
Begining soon the psychosocial, monthly summaries and some other documents
will be "on-line" and it will be interesting finding out if they are fully
accessible.

Hello All,
If you have had issues or are currently having issues with accessible
software, please send me your experience in as much detail as you can
supply, and your contact information. Our legal department at our National
office is meeting tomorrow and would like a perspective on who is affected
by this issue.
Thank you for your immediate attention in this matter!
Merry
