[humanser] Director of Residential Services?

Sarah,
Curiosity, what took your interest to RT and how long have you been in
practice? I know your post was seeking opportunity resources and my hope is
that the list will support that. I am intrigued by Recreational Therapy as I
also work with RT professionals on the multidisciplinary team at the
hospital. It can be powerful for self and others to discuss options in the
broad range of Human Service disciplines and applications. Hope my question
does not feel intrusive.
Genuinely,
Mary Tatum Chappell, Psy. D.

Thanks JD. I wish more people understood the value of RT.

important member on any team. I have worked for years with RTs in a number
of situations, but never in Blind Rehab work, so I've forwarded your request
to someone who should know. I hope she gets back to you in person, if not
we can have a discussion on this list.

training facilities called a Director of Residential Services? What types
of recreational activities are offered at these facilities? Are there any
Recreational Therapists doing therapeutic activities?
