Blindness nor brain injury defines you. Sounds like you have been
surmounting more than your share. Tell me what took you to the Human
Services for your professional pursuits?

Hi, Mary,

I am continually intrigued by a new way my brain works, after starting as
just a blind tperson with "normal" thought, before becoming brain damaged at
age 19. There is a whole 3 months written out of my experience during which
time I was in a coma in addition to the 3 months i lived in a local
hospital.
To this day, I attend a local brain damage support group at which we discuss
any tips and tricks that have happened upon are consciousness. At support
group, people recount living with multiple brain injuries. As far as I'm
concerned more brain injury, although it will definitely pose a significant
road block, in the end is just another thing I gotta surmount. Makes ya
wanna walk around with a friggen combat helmet! (sardonic sniggering) for
