[humanser] Idea about Testing Issues for Social Work Licensing Exams

Allysa,

is there still a division for social workers with disabilities within NASW
of Massachusetts? If so, they may have more interest. I have been in the
NASW and the state affiliate, but did not put money in to join now. It is a
lower cost to join as a student. I took the exam prep course offered by the
Massachusetts affiliate and received a very complete study guide. I was
told the exam would not work with JAWS. What I did was to have a person
mark answers, and there was a print answer book for her. We didn't use the
computer at all. Also I had the test questions in Braille. Yes, to be able
to utilize a screen reader with the exam would be great.
