Mary,
If you all do not publicly archive our list, please let it be a private
archive.
I' know we all benefit from prior info posted to the list and as others
have said, we can search the archives for information. New members can find
valuable info in it.
I've been on lists for over ten years and this is the first objection I've
seen.
Just do not publicly share phone numbers.
Its not too hard to restrain yourself from sharing private info.
Besides, dave indicated her post will be removed.

There are three options -- so you know. the first is public archives, the
second is "private" archives, and the third is no archive. A private
archive means that only list members can get in, they must use the password
they established, or received when they joined the list. If they don't know
their password, the system will e-mail it to them.
