Denise,
you can read sample articles of Dialogue on their website. Its true stories 
about blind people's experiences.
I don't have their site now. But once you get there,  its easy to find; I 
don't think the  writing guidelines are there. Your
husband may want tot call them to get more submission guidance.

This reminds me, I should subscribe.

I'd like to hear more about Dialogue or any other magazine for the blind.
My husband Adam has a couple of articles that he could write and which I
believe could be published if we knew where to send them.  He is blind and
flies a flight simulator.  I'm sure there are people who would be interested
in reading about this.  So, please let me know either a web site or some way
of contacting the magazines, if you have that information.

We probably both have Braillers that need some repairs.  I some times take
my hand and move the roller around and it clicks in to a spot where it
doesn't write over the previous line.

A friend of mine, who voluntarily translates NFB material in to Spanish,
likes to do all her chapter secretary notes with a slate.  Another friend
gave her the slate and it is one that fits on the whole sheet of paper and
came from some place overseas where a blind friend of ours went on a mission
trip.  Her next trip is to Haiti, so she bought a recorded Bible that is
solar powered and in the language spoken in Haiti (bought it at the exhibits
last National convention).

Bob Branco has his own magazine, though I never read it and don't know its
name.

As for Dialog, I have read some of it from a friend's copy, and ought to
subscribe to it.
