sDeniz,
During my various externship and internship years (2007-2012) I trained in counseling centers that used Titanium and, though we tried many interventions and alternatives, we were unable to access the scheduling and note taking components. I wound up using alternative manners of access and documentation--Microsoft Word and the assistance of administrative staff. It sounds as if there are more viable access options now as you mentioned the company has sent you short cut combinations--not even suggested in my day, so at least we know there is awareness. That said, my recent experiences with EMR or EHR, the electronic record keeping systems in medical facilities , was completely inaccessible and, more recently, we have gained accessibility through scripting and other means. I worked with a team from Virtual Vision Tech and my IT department for a 6 month duration and am still learning the nuances and access points but, what had previously been totally inpenetrable has become an open resource; this to let you know that everything is going through growth and development processes and you need to emphasize and persist in order to realize that to which you aspire.
I trust there are many experienced students and working professionals alike on this list who can speak to your questions. Let us know how this process evolves for you.
I applaud your choice of UPenn as that was my original program of choice. Best of luck- labor under correct knowledge-- to you in the process.
All the very best to you in your continuing efforts.
Genuinely,
Mary Tatum Chappell, Psy. D.

Hi all,
I am a PHD student at Penn State. This is my first semester. I am doing my practicum at the clinic of the department. There are 2 software that I need to use. One of them is Titanium this is the software for note taking. And the other is High-Vision, this one is the program that I need to use to watch my sessions. With another blind friend I tried to use scheduling function of titanium with JAWS . It does have accessibility problems. The company send us some shortcut combinations. I haven’t try them yet. This Tuesday I am going to try short-cuts for scheduling and explore the note taking part. If you have any experience with any of those soft-wares can you please share them with me.
Best
