So I ask you , do you have the knowledge about the resources, such as the hotline number, crisis line, When and what classes are offered and other such things. Do you have any way of accessing this information either electronically or otherwise.
Your knowledge of Braille should be enough to label the resources.
I have a good memory and can answer any question with ease about our department. I know this requires learning and practice. You have been there for about a month. No one expects you to know everything on the first day of work. At least you are trying. Give it some time. You will be a pro soon.
We are here to encourage you and to be your support system.
If people give your business cards as they want you to sign them up for the email list, make an envelope that says in Braille list serve. If they want you to sign them up for classes, do the same.
Keep the envelope, and give the cards to the specific staff person.
We all learn from each other, so ask any other questions.

I apologize if my earlier message wasn't clear; I know nominal braille. I use braille to label papers and folders; spices; chargers and the like. My question had more to do with how and when do I use the braille that I know.
Here are my responses to your questions. At resource fairs we offer various materials including help and hot line information; classes; newsletters and brochures.
The resource binder targets participants receiving behavioral health services in various settings. Thus far I've gone to a womens shelter and clubhouses. I imagine I'll also go to crisis residential settings and perhaps some of the board and care homes.
I hope I've clarified what I intended to request. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your methods of accomplishing your job duties.
