> The Psychologist provides psychological services for University of California, San Francisco students and scholars and dependents enrolled with the Student Health Insurance Plan on a wide variety of presenting concerns. The individual will provide assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling. Consult regularly with Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) primary care providers about psychological factors affecting students' well-being and health. The position is part of the SHCS integrated care model of care delivery. Designs and implements psycho-educational programming and outreach programs to address a range of student needs. Consults with faculty and staff on issues relevant to student educational performance, emotional well-being and psychological functioning.

We serve UCSF students, scholars, researchers and their dependents and strive to exceed accepted standards of care, with clinical and administrative staff. SHCS has a clinical staff that includes primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, registered nurses, a social worker and a doctor of mental health.

> Required Qualifications	• Doctorate degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program 
> • Licensed as a psychologist in California or licensed in another jurisdiction and licensed in California within six months from date of hire
> • Experience providing psychological services to women and underserved populations
> • Experience working on a college campus or with college students, preferably graduate and/or professional students
> • Specialized expertise working with concerns specific to graduate and professional female students
> • Clinical experience working with individuals who are in varying states of emotional distress presenting with a wide range of psychological concerns and disorders
> • Expertise in working with multicultural and underserved student populations
> • Strong skills providing brief individual and couples counseling and time-limed, brief psychotherapy
> • Highly developed skills providing group counseling and psychotherapy
> • Highly developed skills providing diagnostic/psychological testing methodologies, assessment, diagnosis and crisis intervention
> • Experience working with electronic medical records systems
> • Skills in psychological consultation, crisis management and outreach programming
> • Thorough knowledge of applicable laws and standards of professional conduct
> • Ability to conduct complex analysis and develop and present recommendations and course of treatment
> • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including strong skills in delivering group presentations, lectures and workshops aimed to bring a psychological perspective to bear on University life
> • Ability to work collaboratively with a highly skilled, enthusiastic, friendly staff
> • Ability to deal effectively with high levels of stress, emotionality, and ambiguity
