[humanser] Working or volunteering in a residential facility

Hi everyone,

For any of you who have had experience (volunteer or otherwise) working in a
residential facility (domestic violence shelter, home for pregnant women,
ETC), what accomidations did you need in order to successfully perform your
assigned duties? What challenges did you encounter pertaining to the
position, and how did you overcome these challenges?
