	Thanks for bringing this up. I always inform my clients that I am
recording the sessions and include it in my informed consent. Some of my
clients have Victor readers and those that don't like being informed about
it. Because the Victor has audible cues, it makes its presence known. After
a while, it is almost like it is not there.
	My supervisor uses a small digital recorder. I like the Victor due
to its speechand removeable sd card. This allows me to use the sessions as
reference in supervisions and consultations. I am sure there are others that
work very well. Let us know what you do Jimmy!

Hello Jimmy,

I do not record clinical sessions, unless you have patient consents and 
treatment related reasons it is not advised.  But, I have had training 
family treatment sessions taped for supervision purposes, so I can see how 
it can be useful.

I would use an easily identified recorder, like a pocket digital recorder 
that could be clearly seen by my patients so as not to confuse with issues 
of confidentiality.  I could easily record on my braille not taker and this 
would be the easiest solution.

I have my folks being supervised during student internships to do process 
recordings.  These help analyze the session and, at the same time, 
strengthen our memory of that session.
