Hello Everyone,
My name is Ally, and I have been a member of this list for a little while. I
am just now getting an opportunity to introduce myself. I just moved and an
starting a new job so my life has been extremely busy lately. I just left my
job as a psychologist with a university counseling center to go into private
practice. I am currently learning all kinds of things about essentially
starting my own business and getting paneled with insurance companies. My
ultimate goal is to become a speaker and a trainer so that I can step away
from the therapy side of things. Anyway, I have recently started a blog. It
is essentially about my process of going into private practice as a person
who is visually impaired, and I will also be talking about social justice
issues that arise for me. I really want this to be something that educates
people and that offers some perspective on some of the unique challenges
that I encounter on this journey. I also hope that it is an uplifting and at
times maybe humorous endeavor too. I would love it if you would consider
checking it out. It is a work in progress and I only have two posts up right
