Lisa - I had trouble with Cerner with ZoomText. I managed ultimately to make it work well enough to function but have someone meet with me on a regular basis to help with any snags I run into. Mary Chappell has used it - I believe with JAWS and had a local accessiblity expert do the scripting for her.
Here's the AT firm she used:

At last year's presidential address at the convention, Mark Rickabono spoke about Cerner as being on the NFB radar screen now as being a problem regarding accessiblity. They provide charting software as well as the software for medical Kiosks. This is very big business. In Toronto, there are at least 3 hospitals that are using their program for charting. My hospital spent $60 million bringing in their software system.
Hope that is helpful!!

Hello,
Is anyone using the Cerna medical records software in concert with JAWS and
or Window Eyes? If these text-to-speech screen reading software programs do
not work with Cerna does using a Mac computer work with Cerna?
