[humanser] Interviewing

Good Afternoon,
Here is what I always talked about when I was asked about my weaknesses:
I usually talked about something I could do better and what I plan on doing
about it. I, for instance, said that I sometimes expect too much from
myself and others. I then continue that I realize that different people
have different work styles and that I wwork on realizing about tolerance
toward different work styles.

I would never talk about transportation, as I have found that this will turn
off employers. The law says that everyone is responsible hot to get to work
and back home and that is is not the employer's responsibility. I also
skirted the question about technology at my first interview. Only when I
had close to a job offer, I would talk about technology. I always worked
with the department of Rehabilitation about adaptive technology as many
employers either cannot afford it or do not want to bother. This is just my
experience.

I tend to respond along these lines.
I am passionate aboutsupporting... I have to remember to maintain balance in
my life. I have also responded by saying, I rely on my smart phone and my
laptop for personal and work-related tasks. Keeping up with the
ever-evolving changes in technology and software can be a challenge.

Hi Amanda, when I went to my most recent interview, I explained that my
weaknesses were access to transportation and at the time a lack of the
appropriate technology. Now that I have received my new BrailleNote Touch
from Humanware, I plan to apply for more jobs in the future. I find that I
am over qualified for most positions that I apply for.
