Hi Traci,
I am working on my Ph. D. at Grand Canyon University. I have not
found an accessible software as of yet. I read that SPSS has an
accessibility feature that must be activated to make it function. My school
offers MAXQDA and I have not found it to be accessible either. I have not
found an individual that has used MAXQDA with sight let alone a BVI user.
I will be closely following this thread! I will also post any
success that I may have. Feel free to contact me off-list if you would
like.

Warmly,

Rev. Michael “Big Dog” Abell

Subject: [humanser] qualitative coding software

I am a Ph. D. candidate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
I am actively working on my dissertation. My question has to do with
qualitative coding software. Is there a program that is more accessible
than others? My biggest challenge has been technology. I decided on a
qualitative method partially because SPSS is not really accessible, at
least I couldn't figure out how to make it accessible. Any advice would be
greatly appreciated!
