[humanser] work experience?

I concur, J.D.! Well stated! As a matter of fact, I wish I'd done even more volunteer work exploration. After I got into the work force, I realized how helpful it had been. It not only opened my mind and broadened my world experience, but it also helped me overcome some shyness with which I struggled. (Nobody can believe that now when I tell them I was once very shy!) Good luck!

Your experience should help you to broaden your mind. As such anything will work.

I volunteered on a telephone hotline, but others have volunteered with day care or with seniors. Do whatever you enjoy and the experiences will all filter into your new career.

Hi all, I have a question. As a college student majoring in social work, what kind of volunteer or work experience would be usefull to have in order to enhance my resume and secure employment in the future?
