This full-day workshop will focus on strategies and tools for academic researchers to collaborate with private sector companies on applied research problems and interventions related to everyday decision making and behavior. Topics will include:

  *   Strategies for engaging private sector collaborators.
  *   Identifying mutually interesting research questions.
  *   Tips for communicating with the private sector.
  *   Navigating the research process: funding, timelines, contracts, scientific rigor, and research ethics.
  *   Managing expectations.
  *   Avoiding conflicts of interest.

Cost & Lodging
There is no cost to participate. Two nights lodging and airfare will be covered for accepted applicants.

Eligibility
Assistant professors, postdocs, and Ph.D. students who have advanced to candidacy. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
