JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Behavioral Health Psychologist or LMFT will work at one or more assigned sites within our health and wellness centers. He/she will serve as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team for the purpose of optimizing whole-person health and wellness. The BH Psychologist will counsel individuals, couples, families, and groups; and provide behavioral health consultation within the health center and to the assigned Crossover client organization.
-   Collaborates with allied health professionals to facilitate and
   support health behavior change.
-   Applies experience and training in employer settings, including
   presenting psycho-educational programs, promoting services,
   consulting to the organization, and leading critical incident
   debriefing sessions.
-   Uses a variety of assessment and intervention techniques to address
   mental health problems.
-   Understands HIPAA requirements for mental health records and
   substance abuse records and maintains appropriate documentation in
   compliance with legal and ethical standards.
-   Uses a variety of assessment and intervention techniques to address
   mental health problems.
-   Reviews clinical data and makes recommendations for programmatic
   changes, acquisition of clinical tools, and opportunities for
   collaboration and innovation, as part of the client organization’s
   clinical team, as well as within Crossover’s Behavioral Health
   Guild.
-   Performs case management when service needs (such as higher level of
   care) exceed the scope of the practice.
-   Follows code of ethics associated with licensing body of their
   respective certification.
-   Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-   Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), required.
-   Licensed in Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed
   Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
-   Maintains LMFT or LCSW license in good standing during employment.
-   Proficient in evidence-based treatments (i.e. CBT, ACT and DBT)
-   Minimum 5 years related clinical experience serving patients across
   the mental health, family relationships, addiction and recovery, and
   work related spectrum.
-   Proficient computer and technology skills
-   Current, unencumbered licensure
-   Must have attended an APA accredited program PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-   Ability to inspire respect, trust, and confidence.
-   Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; including
   expertise with presentation skills.
-   Ability to establish therapeutic alliances and rapport required to
   work with a diverse patient population
-   Ability to make independent decisions in accordance with established
   policies and procedures while working within the collaborative team
   framework.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
-   May require standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of
   time.
-   Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
-   Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination
-   Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges.
   Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team
   members.
