Hi Everyone,
As part of my MSW field placement, I am composing an informed consent and qualification disclosure statement to utilize within the private practice agency where I am completing my internship. In reviewing the NASW code of ethics standard 1.03, I am wondering how you independently verify client identity, especially if providing services via Telehealth. I recognize that clinicians with usable vision can simply request that the client show their driver’s license or state ID card, but what alternative methods are available for doing this for those of us without usable vision?
