I would be interested in getting more involved in  your organization.    If there are any openings on  the board of directors of the division, I would be open to serving.
I would like to get the contact information for the people who spoke at the division meeting and I'm probably  most interested in contacting the person who presented on yoga.
I don't know for sure but I feel like there are probably many members that are looking for both providers of various types of services for clients and people who provide services who would like to get referrals of clients.   I think the division should start up a listing of members and profiles of people who want to get referrals.    For example, I would like to refer all the clients who want to learn yoga to the person who presented at the meeting.   It doesn't seem like it would cost anything to create a basic  web page with links to linked in or psychology today profiles.   Let me know if I can help.

Hello,

This person has just begun an MSW program and has been told that she must
have the APA book for sighting sources in papers. She has downloaded it from
BookShare but was wondering if it might be easier to use if she had it in
hardcopy Braille. Currently she does not have a Braille display and will
take some time to become proficient on one. I suggested that she simply put
it on her computer from BookShare and use it that way because it might be
easier to read the very particular requirements. Any thoughts about what
others have been done would be appreciated. I know that when I was in
school, before the internet, just learning the difference between journal
articles and books and maybe a couple other things was all I did. I could
always make my own notes about the different ways to sight things but I know
it is a bit different now with the internet and the various types of
articles.

Thanks for your help.

Bonnie

Hi,
In undergrad and grad school, I found: www.apastyle.org to be a very helpful resource. It became my go to if I had questions. I found that navigating the APA style manual was cumbersome at best.
I hope this helps, and have a wonderful weekend!

Take care, Miranda
