[HumanSer] participating virtually in convention, anyone know if its possible tomorrow

Hi all,

 

A late, Happy Independence day! We enjoyed fireworks yesterday.

 

I have a lot happening at home including doctor's appointments. But I would
like to hear the convention as it happens.

 

Is anyone having problems with the webinar option for participation?

 

 

I tried three times to join the zoom webinar mid morning.

When I do so after clicking join, it says waiting for host to start this
webinar.

 

 

I tried calling NFB's national office but no one answers. I wanted to find
out what was happening and if they were having technical issues today.

I accessed the stream yesterday on my Amazon Echo. Alexa opened the stream
and it was fine for the most part.

Sometimes the stream was a little faint, but mostly it was clear and loud
enough to understand the speakers.

I also watched a little on the pc.

 

Today, I used my pc to see the webinar, but it did not work.

 

Anyone know if it will be fixed for tomorrow?

Also, did someone record the human services meeting? If not, I'd like to
know what you all discussed.

 

I am seeking employment and one area I might work in is in a human service
role such as being an activity leader, assistant program coordinator or
assistant to a social worker. 

 

If I were at convention, I'd be at the division meeting.
