[HumanSer] Survey of Vocational agencies

I am an NFB member writing an article for a National Association of Social Workers journalon state vocational agencies.    I am trying to find out whetherany of the state agencies for people who are blind hire social workers.
If you know of any states that hire social workers, please let me know.If you know for sure that a state does not hire social  workers, please  let me know that also.I am requesting information from each individual agency, but I am expecting many will not respond.I also sent inquirry to NFB  Division for Blind Vocational Professionals.
Although the best practice seems to be to utilize multidisciplinary teams of professionals I am trying to find out to what extent state agencies are actually using that model.
Sincerely,Michael Beattie

Miranda,
Did you get a full time job?
I hope the software issues worked out for you.

Hi JD,
Thank you so much for your response. Unfortunately, my case with VR is closed, because I am successfully employed. I definitely agree with creating external templates as an alternative solution, and will propose this as an accommodation.

Hi,
I do have a full-time job, but it is not at the clinic that I refer to in my original post. As far as the software concerns, I have not had conversations with the IT department at the free clinic yet. I am working to secure a clinical supervisor before moving forward with these conversations.
